The Guest house

It takes about 10 –15 minute walk from the Chaopin station and it is a uphill road. The Guest House opens from 08.00 –12.00 and 13.30 –17.00 every Wednesday. The House was built by with Taiwan Red Cypress. Therefore, it smells incredibly nice. The house was used as a mountain retreat by warlords for several decades. There is nothing special about the interior architecture of the house, but it smelled so good. Here I had my first encounter with the bloomed one leaf orchid here, just on the slope near the front entrance of the house. I could only see two or three of them, but that was a good consolation prize. I never got to see them in the wild again after this.
